A Curriculum Architecture or Learning Path should be more than a collection of modules. If you need an R for the I that is.

Have you and your Enterprise got your collective arms around all of your content and your investments in that content?

Or is it out of control?

How do you inventory, or track your investments in content and the actual content for change management – or is that not a concern?

How do you insure that all of these investments lead to improved performance of the learners – whether your content is very formal, a mix of formal-informal,  or mostly informal?

Note: if it was totally informal you cannot track it at all – just as you cannot track the number and of depth of everyone’s breathing.

And are you ReUsing content appropriately? Very few intact sets-of-content are sharable with a return. Logging on to a system may be. But Active Listening is not. How to navigate the company intranet is. Leadership skills are not.

It’s all about the Context – narrow or wide. It’s all about being authentic enough.

A Curriculum Architecture or Learning Path should be more than a collection of modules. If you need an R for the I that is.
