Leveraging Master Performance for Instruction and Performance Improvement.

I’ve been working with Master Performers – a special type of SME – Subject Matter Expert – since 1979. When given SMEs who were not MPs – disaster – during Pilot Test sessions often resulted. Master Performers know the nuances of the job – most sub-consciously of course – but when brought together in a group forum – using a Group Process – can “collectively” tell you what’s accurate, complete and appropriate. However – just because they can be brought to a consensus – DOES NOT MAKE THEM RIGHT.

But – who else would you ask?

And – if need be – what they say can be verified via observations of the actual performance being targeted –  if/when needed.
