Why Isn’t Everyone a Master Performer?

If Some Can Do It – Why Not Everyone?

What makes some so special? They are working – theoretically – in the same process with the same Environmental Supports.

If it is the Performers themselves – what variable or variables are the ones that are making the big difference – the causes for the variation between those who Can and those who Cannot?

What’s in your model for assessing these variables? And how do you put that model into practice?

My approach – first written about and published here – in November 1984 – has gone through some small changes – but is basically unchanged.

A more complete and up-to-date article – is this chapter for the HPT handbook (2006) – here.
