MTEC was the Motorola Training & Education Center, the forerunner of Motorola University. I started in April 1981 and left in October 1982, when I was about to join Ray Svenson at his consulting firm. There at MTEC I got a chance to work many times with Geary Rummler, and Neil Rackham, John Carlisle, Carol Panza, and Ray Svenson.
This was my gift at the goodbye luncheon.
Co-worker and Master of Ceremonies, John Coné, who was also the author of my plague, roasted me, but not too badly.
It was a great organization, MTEC, run by a great leader and management team.
