Or to multiple downstream operations and/or customers.

Begin with the Receiving Systems in Mind

Not your end point.

Not the handoff point.

Begin with understanding the needs and wants downstream – of your customer – and their stakeholders.

What are their requirements of your outputs as their inputs?

Begin there.


And then understand what your stakeholders require – and want – of your Products and the Processes that produce them.


And then Plan and Execute and Adjust accordingly.
