T&D: Take a Systems View of Your Own Processes

It’s More Than ADDIE

Or whatever Project Planning & Management framework you use. My own ADDIE-like process isn’t A-D-D-I-E.

ADDIE Is At 6 O’clock and Governance & Advisory Is At 12

Both are important. But so are the other subsystems and processes.

But doing good T&D Development work on the low or wrong priorities – isn’t good at all.

Just as doing poor work on the top, right priorities – isn’t any good either.

However – I believe that 12 O’Clock in the model is THE most important aspect of all of your processes.

The Book

In 2001 I finished this book – several years in the making – based on several consulting engagements I had with my clients in the 1990s.

Be Subservient To Your Leadership About What To Focus On

If you can ensure that your ADDIE-like processes are more than adequate – and simultaneously that your alignment with your Leadership is as well – then you are headed for success.
