HPT Legacy Video: Stephanie Moore, PhD

STEPHANIE L. MOORE

I’ve been connected with Stephanie over Social Media for 8-10 years now – and this was our first F2F meeting – but over Skype. I met her thanks to Roger Kaufman and Jim Ellsworth – two connects from my decades of involvement with NSPI/ISPI.

Stephanie has her doctorate in Instructional Technology and is on the faculty at the University of Virginia. She has been a leader in instructional design and technology, including award-winning work for several online initiatives.

She is actively involved in professional associations and deeply committed to professional practices that are grounded in research and evidence-based practices.

Stephanie also consults with various organizations on a range of projects that relate to instructional design, online learning, and performance improvement. She has extensive experience in assessment and analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Stephanie has additional expertise in change and diffusion as well as systems design.

She is author of a book focused on socially responsible strategic planning as well as numerous articles on online learning, ethics of educational technology, and strategic planning including articulating meaningful visions and missions.
