The CLO Should Stick to Their Knitting IMO

And Learn to Collaborate with All Other System Owners

A recent article suggested that “….transformer CLOs focus less on teaching currently needed skills and more on developing mindsets and behaviors that can enable employees to perform well in tasks that may not yet be defined.”

I disagree.

The CLO has enough on their hands without engaging in turf wars. In this particular case – with the owners of the Recruiting & Selection Systems – per my model of Enabling Provisioning Systems…

I mean, why bring in the wrong people in the first place so you can try to change them in the second place?

Oh, yes, about those people previously hired without the proper mindset? Find them jobs with roles where the proper mindset isn’t a critical current and future requirement.
