T&D: Go for a Performance Impact! In between INFOs & APPOs, consider a DEMO – Augmented to point out nuances. I prefer DEMOs that model the APPO that the Participants will soon be engaged in. Focus on Tasks – and Tasks Lead to Outputs – and Both Have Stakeholder Requirements.

Ensure your Instructional Design includes Demonstrations of the terminal Performance that are as authentic as required to develop the overt and covert knowledge and skills that will transfer and have positive Impact.
