Video: Making the Tacit Explicit in Instructional Development

The Trickiest Part of Instructional Development is determining the covert Cognitive Tasks of the ThoughtFlow that parallels the overt Behavioral Tasks of the WorkFlow. These must be carefully elicited from the Master Performers’ non-Conscious Knowledge.

In my experience, across several hundred Facilitated Group Process Team Meetings for Project Planning & Management, Analysis, Design, Development, and Pilot Testing working with a Team is better, faster, and sometimes cheaper.

We must determine the Tacit Knowledge of the Master Performers … and make it Explicit Knowledge for the Novice Performers.
