Video: That Dang Required Reflection for Learning

Maybe it’s just me, but I find myself Relearning in the WorkFlow more than Learning in the WorkFlow – as whatever I learned didn’t stick – because I didn’t adequately reflect on what I had learned and/or repeat the tasks often enough, spaced well enough.

Performance Analysis – one of my 4 standard types of Instructional Analysis – should help you understand whether or not the Job Itself will be reinforcing of what gets learned formally, socially, or informally. And if the Stakes are High enough, you’ll want to avoid Relearning in the WorkFlow.
