Instructional Currentz Video w/ Gavin Heryng on Fighting Modern Slavery

I’ve been connected to Gavin Heryng on LinkedIn for just a while now, and I noticed a few weeks ago that on his LinkedIn Profile it said: “Fighting modern slavery by day, sharing L&D tips by night.”

So I just had to reach out to him – and ask him to do a video with me to help spread the word.

From his LinkedIn Profile

What is modern slavery and what can I do about it?

There are an estimated 136,000 victims of modern-day slavery in the UK and with 77% of businesses expecting to find slavery somewhere in their supply chain, modern slavery might be closer than you think.

Over half of the referrals of potential victims of modern slavery received by Hope for Justice come from the people and organisations we have trained.

Slave-Free Alliance’s modern slavery training increases awareness of what modern slavery might look like in your industry as well as the steps you can take to help mitigate the risk of modern slavery in your organisation and supply chain.

Our training can also help your organisation to meet its obligations under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

To find out more about how Slave-Free Alliance can help you mitigate the risks of modern slavery, visit https://www.slavefreealliance.org/ or send me a connection request to start the conversation.

Here are the two URL’s he mentioned in the video below.
