Systematic Assessments of the L&D Function for Improvement Potential

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” asks Alice.

“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.

Suggesting improvements in L&D requires more than encouragement. It requires situational specifics.

Improvement should be Targeted based on their Improvement Potential – and the costs/pains of keeping the Status Quo. My framework for systematic assessments was first created in the 1980s for client work and evolved into a 12-part framework with 47 Processes.

That was central to my 2011 book: T&D Systems View – which I updated/refreshed in 2022.
