Performance-Based Skills Management Systems 1994

ReSkilling and UpSkilling are all the rage – all over again. Back in 1993/4 my firm was involved in addressing this with one of our local clients – in the Chicago suburbs.

These kinds of efforts have always been driven by major business initiatives – so that they have goals and measures of success that executives can get behind. And so priority target can be established to get started and to progress across the Enterprise in a meaningful manner.

From the newsletter article written by my partner at SWI, the late Ray Svenson, and our Associate Dottie Soelke…

Almost all of our consulting work – going back to 1982 – revolved around Performance Model data and Enabling Knowledge/Skills data.
