Meaningful Post-L&D Evaluation Foci in an Enterprise Learning Context

By meaningful, I mean Business Results and not Learning Activities.

Just to be clear.

People are on the payroll to produce Worthy Outputs – that are Worthy Inputs – downstream – to Internal and/or External Customers – and meet the needs of all Stakeholders.

If you aren’t focused on helping your Learners become better Performers and helping them to produce Outputs better, faster, cheaper and safely – then what are you doing?

This isn’t new. It wasn’t new in 1979 when I was handed a binder of workshop materials from 1972.


All of my books have been focused on Performance Improvement – via Instruction (Performance Support & Learning Experiences) or non-Instructional Interventions, since the first one in 1994.
