Informing the Lesson Map with Analysis Data

I first developed the Lesson Map format for a project with Illinois Bell back in 1990. I needed it for a project to conduct both Analysis and Design via a Facilitated Group Process – that I had been doing for Curriculum Architecture Design efforts – now called Instructional Architecture – since 1982.

I’d done 2 of those types of projects for this client, and they wanted me to address a critical set of training content that was also controversial – and they saw great potential (and speed) in using the Facilitated Group Process and dealing with the politics involved.

The story of that project is covered in this 2013 Blog Post – here.

I also tell the story about how we taught Interpersonal Communications Skills – those so-called soft skills in a hard skills context – in that Labor Relations training course – in this recent book – here.
