Bueller’s Day Off – Driving the Linn Cove Viaduct

Yesterday – on Bueller’s Day Off – my wife and I did our annual mountain drive to see the fall colors. We were probably a week early. But our Westie (West Highland Terrier) had leg surgery six days ago, and needed to get out of the house.

The Linn Cove Viaduct, located in western North Carolina, hugs the face of Grandfather Mountain and is recognized internationally as an engineering marvel. This was the last section of the Blue Ridge Parkway to be completed … in 1987.

This video is less than 2 minutes in length.

We’ll be back out on another portion of the Blue Ridge next week.
